number of big named democrats calling on president obama to keep his promise and allow people to hold onto their current insurance policies. senator feinstein says she's received more than 30,000 calls, e-mails and letters from people in california who have had their policies canceled and are now facing increased out of pocket costs. feinstein is co-sponsoring legislation that would extend the grandfathered date so people who have the policies they like can keep them and former president clinton is the one who basically started the call for president obama to let people keep their current insurance as he had consistently promised. the white house says president obama agrees with clinton. white house spokesman jay carney said yesterday that president obama has tasked his team to find solutions for people who have lost their plans. >>> 7:16. san francisco police want your help. they are trying to find a young man who has been missing since last week. 20-year-old derrick chow was last seen in the bayview district six days ago. he was on his way to catch the 29 mun bus for san francisco -

the president's offer. it would allow new enrollees in those plans that don't meet obama care standards and it does not require insurance companies to inform consumers about potentially better plans being offered in the federal and state marketplaces. that has president obama threatening to veto the bill. some republicans say president obama ignoring the law for the next year and encouraging insurance companies to do the same one republican said if a law is bad, we'd change the law. we don't ignore it. some insurance companies say they won't be able to extend current policies because it's too much change with only six weeks to go before the new year. bay area congresswoman nancy pelosi spoke just a few moments ago and she said the republican plan is poisonous for the health of americans. i'll watch the house floor live and have her reactions and others at 8:15. live in washington, kyla campbell, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> new york times says the cia is collecting, money transfers handled by western union. the cia is collecting the info under the same law the national security agency uses
